Are you interested in supporting the DTCP in it’s efforts to preserve and protect Tipp City’s historic downtown shopping and residential district? Volunteer to help out at one of our projects or events, or become a DTCP Booster!

Volunteers are an important part of the structure that helps keep nonprofit organizations, like the Partnership, running smoothly. Volunteer opportunies are available for administration and fundraising, Tippcanoe Farmers’ Market 2009, Tippecanoe HarvestFest 2009, Events, Public Relations and General adminstrative duties. If you are interested in helping out, please e-mail DTCP President Greg Enslen to be added to our Volunteer Roster.

The Downtown Tipp City Partnership’s mission is to strive to enhance, preserve and promote the downtown Tipp City area. Tipp City is a place where history meets progress and growth, the very thing that makes us so unique and makes Tipp such a desirable place to live.
That said, the Downtown Tipp City Partnership has decided to pursue a membership in the Heritage Ohio Main Street Program. The primary objective of the Heritage Ohio Main Street Program is to foster economic development within the context of historical preservation. Member communities are provided with training workshops, design assistance, work plan development and Ohio Main Street grants. We feel that Tipp City is a perfect fit for the Program and hope we can count on your support as well.
Acceptance into the program requires the Partnership to have two-thirds of its annual budget in place or pledged with supporting documentation. This documentation and formal written application must be submitted to Heritage Ohio at the beginning of the year. The opportunities for downtown Tipp City and the surrounding community are abundant, but we need your help.
Your pledged support at this time will not only get Tipp City one step closer to a Main Street USA designation, but will also ensure the continued success of events such as the Tippecanoe Farmers’ Market and Old Tippecanoe Holiday Festival that make our home so unique. We have several options for sponsorship, which can be reviewed in the attached 2009 Booster Program flyer.
Tipp City is filled with citizens who care about their community and each other.
